The Sony X-Series SNC-XM636 Mini Dome Vandal- & Weather-Resistant Outdoor Full HD Network Camera with IPELA ENGINE EX Technology is equipped with a 1/2.9" Exmor CMOS sensor that captures clear images with a maximum resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. The IPELA ENGINE EX signal processing system has been developed based on Sony’s signal processing and intelligent video analytics technologies to provide features such as View-DR, XDNR, and DEPA Advanced technologies. Thanks to the View-DR wide dynamic range technology, the camera is able to capture images clearly and adaptively even under severe backlight or highlight conditions.
The built-in Visibility Enhancer (VE) dynamically optimizes the brightness and color reproduction of an image on a pixel-by-pixel basis while continuously adapting to the scene within the given dynamic range. With the IK10-rated vandal-resistant housing, the camera can be safeguarded from destructive activities. The IP66-rated water-resistant and dust-tight feature of the housing makes the camera suitable for both outdoor surveillance as well as indoor locations where water ingress may pose a threat.
SNC-XM636 features include:
- Maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with the Exmor™ CMOS sensor
